January 2008:

It’s now a year since our house sitting website was re-vamped and it’s been an eventful time here at Safe Hands. Our pet sitting search engine ratings have improved such in the last twelve months that our internet reputation as a leading provider of house sitting services is growing as fast as our word of mouth referrals.

This means but one thing, lots of extra house sits, which in turn means that we need more house sitters. To cope with the demand, and to consolidate our success, we have taken over another house sitting company, UKpetsitter.com. This West Midlands based pet sitting company has a well deserved excellent reputation; and now that Safe Hands has taken on their existing team of around 20 experienced house sitters, we have addressed a previous staff shortage in the area of Birmingham and the Midlands generally.

Since the takeover, the original UK pet sitter site has been slightly ‘re-branded’ to show our logo, but the same dedicated team of house sitters and their satisfied clients have now come under the nationwide umbrella of Safe Hands.

In practical terms, this simply means that we have more web coverage than ever before, and more house sitters joining our growing team of over 240 personnel.
