Our House Sitters

All our house sitters are responsible individuals who are professional, reliable, competent and most importantly trustworthy. Our house sitters are all long established homeowners and the majority are retired from a wide range of occupations, such as teachers, police force, civil service etc.

Our recruiting methods are among the most stringent in the house sitting industry. We request four references (both professional and personal) and insist on a police check. Potential sitters are interviewed by the owner of the business. We have no hesitation in rejecting potential sitters if they are not entirely suitable for house sitting.

Our house sitters do not leave your property for more than three hours a day during daylight hours. This maintains the security of your home and ensures that your property is always occupied during the hours of darkness.

You will have the opportunity to meet your house sitter before you go away. They will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient date and time to meet you at your home. At this time you can go through all your requirements, security needs and general household routines.

The staff at the Animal Angels office will then contact you to ensure that you are happy with your chosen house sitter. If you have any doubts or concerns about your house sitter, then we will re-allocate a new sitter, subject to availability.
